It was a little cold in the taxi. Mu Wan’s body was hot, so she leaned against the window and pressed the glass. The raindrops on the window glass gathered together and then fell off. Liu Qianxiu got up and left. Mu Wan grabbed the corner of his clothes. He turned around, and Mu Wan looked at him and said, “I’m waiting for you here. You have to come back soon.”

Liu Qianxiu looked down at her and nodded. Mu Wan released her hand.

There are few people in the beauty shop, and the air conditioner is off, warmer than outside. But Mu Wan became a little anxious when she sat for a while. After waiting another five minutes, she raised her head, looked out the door, and saw Liu Qianxiu return.

He held a white bag with a red cross; she guessed it contained medicine. And when his whole person appeared in Mu Wan’s sight, Mu Wan saw that he held many things in his other hand.

The bottom layer is white, the top layer is blue, and the middle is a layer of pink..., a bunch of extra-large luxury marshmallows.

Mu Wan stood up from the bench.

Liu Qianxiu bought some anti-fever medicines. After he bought a bottle of water in the beauty shop, he walked over with something. Passing the marshmallows to Mu Wan, he said while taking medicine, “Take a bite after you drink the medicine because it is bitter.”

“Yeah.”

“I will remember you for the rest of my life.” Mu Wan said.

Liu Qianxiu’s eyes paused slightly, and Mu Wan laughed, contented and sweet.

“This is the first time I have received such a sweet flower.~”

Incurable Chapter 17 Part 1

Liu Qianxiu looked at her. His eyes were quiet and flat, like a blue flame. His eyes were also as cold as ice, but it was so hot. Mu Wan looked out of the window. She held a cup and watched the rain dripping down on the windowsill. Her voice was still sticky when she spoke.

“It’s nothing. I’m going to take some medicine.”

The cup in her hand is not much hotter than her body temperature, and it should be very comfortable to drink. Mu Wan twisted the cup’s lid, and his knuckles turned white. She twisted it twice thrice but still couldn’t unscrew it.

As she looked at the cup, Mu Wan’s eyes widened slightly. The person beside her took the cup before she could gain strength next time. When he took it over, their fingers touched each other, one was cold, and the other was cool. It turned out that Liu Qianxiu was warmer than hers.

While licking the corners of her lips, Mu Wan looked up at Liu Qianxiu. He lowered his eyes, buckled the cup’s lid with his slender fingers, and twisted it slightly. The heat steamed out when the cup’s lid opened, and Mu Wan smelled a faint scent of medicine.

Liu Qianxiu handed over the cup, and Mu Wan returned his sight. After taking the cup, she took a sip directly.

The warm liquid flowed through her throat, making her itchy throat more comfortable. Mu Wan paused for a while, holding the cup, and continued to drink the medicine.

Mu Wan put her lips on the mouth of the cup and bit her teeth lightly. After a soft sound, she said vaguely: “I like to drink this medicine. It’s so sweet.”

Granules are not bitter, but it’s not too sweet, either. Mu Wan felt sweet, not the kind of sweetness, but like the boiled honey flowing from the tip of her tongue to the bottom of her heart.

Liu Qianxiu took her in yesterday and gave her medication today. Mu Wan’s eyes were bright, with sweet joy. She drank the rest of the medicine, rubbed her finger over the cup, and her body was steaming hot.

“Do you have time tonight? Let’s go to eat together tonight at the restaurant I told you about last time. I’ll treat you.”

After drinking the medicine, she seemed to have warmed up, and her cheeks and lips became rosy again. Under her wet long black hair, black eyebrows, jet-black eyes, and rosy lips, a little bit of color makes her shine again.

Liu Qianxiu looked at her calmly. People came and went in the corridor, so the air was full of damp water vapor.

He didn’t speak for a while. Mu Wan bit her lip slightly, and a trace of regret flashed in her eyes: “I want to eat...”

“Okay.” Liu Qianxiu agreed.

Mu Wan finished filming the scene in Wencheng Central Hospital in the morning. In the afternoon, she went to the suburbs of Wencheng. There are a lot of old houses in the Republic of China. Thus, we can retain the original flavor of the Republic of China. In addition to being used as a filming location, it is still half a scenic spot. Mu Wan walked through the long street, surrounded by snacks and toy stalls.

The rainy weather. Being in the rainy alley of this small Jiangnan town always makes people feel peaceful. Mu Wan entered a courtyard by holding an umbrella and stepping on a bluestone slab.

In the courtyard, the camera stands had been set up. The actors and crew perform their respective duties. In the cold buildings of the Republic of China, there is a hint of human life.

The rain had not stopped, Mu Wan just put away her umbrella and prepared to change into her costume, but someone patted her shoulder with great force. Before she could turn around, Gao Mei dragged her to a corner.

“What did you do last night?” Gao Mei wore the coarse cloth costume of a servant girl of the Republic of China, with two ponytails, her facial features all wrinkled together on her white and tender face.

“Drunk, and I went to a friend to sleep.” Mu Wan said lightly.

“Do you still have friends here?” Gao Mei asked, and then she was relieved. Her chubby hand let go of Mu Wan’s arm. Gao Mei sighed: “You went to the pub last night and didn’t come back. I thought you with Director Zhang...”

Before Mu Wan went to Yingke Xuan last night, she texted Gao Mei that she was going to a dinner party and would return later. But yesterday, an actress got sent out of Director Zhang’s room... The middle-aged men and women play as the parents of the female students. The father is angry, the mother is sad, and the female students look at them without expression while reciting the lines.

“The heroine’s acting skills are terrible.” Gao Mei whispered to Mu Wan: “Moreover, today’s scene should have been done on her knees, but she refused, so the director immediately changed the script.”

When Gao Mei finished speaking, the scene before her finished filming. At that time, Zhang Chengze sighed almost inexplicably. The heroine raised her eyes and looked inquiringly.

Zhang Chengze: “It’s over.”

“It’s that all?” Gao Mei almost vomited blood. Mu Wan curled up her lips and laughed beside her.

“Life is really unfair.” Gao Mei watched several assistants approach the leading actress, remembering the actress carried out of Zhang Chengze’s room last night. In fact, some people have told her that Zhang Chengze likes to drink, and playing with actresses after drinking is quite abnormal. What happened last night was not groundless.

Even if the actress is like this, she will only take a few more shots in this drama. However, Mu Qing easily won the heroine, and the whole drama crew revolved around her.

“Fate is too important.” Gao Mei sighed. Then, she glanced at Mu Wan next to her and said: “But her acting skills are like this, no matter how big the investment is, there will be no splashes and fame in the end, which will make her reputation bad. It’s a different story for us. We look beautiful and have good acting skills. If someone wants to support us, we will definitely be popular worldwide.”

The second half of Gao Mei’s words is ridiculed, and Mu Wan laughs. But the first half of what she said is quite reasonable. Many entertainment circles can’t afford to support an actress who looks beautiful but has no acting skills. In the end, there was no warmth.

Mu Wan is not interested in knowing what Mu Qing thinks. After talking to Gao Mei, she went to the dressing room to change her clothes and put on her makeup.
