“Yeah.” Liu Qianxiu washed a bowl.

When she was sure, she laughed, leaning against the kitchen counter, tilted her head, and asked him: “Is the Taoist temple far away?”

“Far away.”

“Then we are going by train?”

“By car.”

“By car.” She lengthened her tone, and it filled with joy, “Are there many Taoist friends in the Taoist temple?”

“No, Master is out, and only my senior brother is in the Taoist temple.”

“Ah?” Mu Wan was startled. But after being surprised, she quickly thought about it. Liu Qianxiu is pure and prefers quiet, but he would not like that incense-rich Taoist view. The Taoist temple he chose should be inaccessible.

While she was thinking, Liu Qianxiu cleaned the last bowl. He turned off the faucet and took out a paper towel to clean the water stains on his hands. After looking at the time, he asked: “You don’t need to shoot today?”

The exploration in Mu Wan’s eyes was omitted, and she regained her senses. After turning her attention to him, she put her hands on the kitchen counter, looked out the window, and said, “I have no scenes today, neither tomorrow nor the day after tomorrow, and not even this week.”

In this way, she also thanks Mu Qing for cutting all her scenes. Otherwise, she would need more time to follow Liu Qianxiu to the Taoist temple. It was a blessing in disguise.

While she was talking, Liu Qianxiu kept looking at her. Mu Wan turned her head and met his eyes. Then she rubbed her nose in embarrassment.

“It’s not that I’m not doing my job properly. I’ve been doing shooting dramas these days, but I was...” Mu Wan shut up and began to laugh before she finished speaking. She and Liu don’t have to talk about it. She wanted to go to the Taoist temple with him this week and have fun.

The light in her eyes jumped again, sweeping away the haze caused by the sentence just now. She raised her eyes carefully and asked happily: “Why are you taking me to the Taoist temple?”

Mu Wan’s voice was sweet, like the sweetness of lotus leaves in the early morning after the rain. Liu Qianxiu looked at her and asked: “Are you happy?”

“Happy.” Her answer was simply affirmative.

Liu Qianxiu no longer spoke, and it seemed that was the answer he wanted. He raised his wrist to check the time and said, “Then, I’m going to work.”

Liu Qianxiu went to work, and Mu Wan went home to pack her luggage. They will leave on Thursday and stay until Monday. That’ll be four days. Now it is summer, so the luggage she needs is light, and it is not easy for Mu Wan to pack up.

All the clothes in the closet are scattered on the bed. The cool breeze from the air conditioner blew a corner of the tulle. Mu Wan looked at the clothes that looked like a hill, and only two pieces were picked and put in the suitcase.

Mu Wan didn’t pick any more at the end of the day. She lay on the bed, and her soft body plunged into the pile of thin clothes. After a while, a low laugh came from her lips.

She turned over, her face still smiling. She raised her mobile phone to her eyes and called Lin Wei.

Lin Wei was drawing a design when she got a call from Mu Wan. After receiving a call from Mu Wan, she went to the tea room to pick up coffee. She stayed up all night to draw and still felt a little tired.

Although Lin Wei is a rich second-generation, playful youngster, there is no doubt about her workability and level. She really likes interior design, and staying up late is a common thing.

“Stay up late?” Mu Wan could hear the exhaustion in her voice.

“Yeah.” After drinking a bitter coffee to prolong her life, Lin Wei said, “Ouch,” and asked, “Why didn’t you go shooting today?”

When she mentioned this, Mu Wan had a smile on her face. She got up from the pile of clothes and sat cross-legged.

“I don’t have any scene to filming this week. Mu Qing is a ghost. She wants me to beg her.”

“Don’t go.” Lin Wei said.

Hearing what she said, Mu Wan was happy and said, “Of course. I wouldn’t starve to death even if I didn’t have a scene to filming. I can follow you to eat.”

It is her confidence that Lin Wei gave her. The two have been a companion for many years, and the depth of it is needless to say.

There was a smile in Mu’an’s remarks, obviously not just because of the joke she just made. Lin Wei narrowed her eyes and said, “Why are you so happy? What’s so good about it?”

Mu Wan couldn’t hide anything from her. Mu Wan lay back, her long thick black hair spread out in her clothes of various colors, like broken black gems, shining brightly.

“I’m going to Taoist temple.”

Lin Wei coughed twice before drinking her espresso and put the cup down. She couldn’t believe it. “Why are you going to Taoist temple? You love the house and the people, so you cultivate the Tao for your love?”

“Accompany Liu Daochang.” Mu Wan said with a smile.

“Fuck?” Lin Wei was surprised. “He asked you to accompany him? What is the relationship between the two of you now?”

“It’s still the same relationship as before.” Mu Wan said. Her neck pressed against her clothes, and her cool skin was rubbed on the cold tulle with a delicate frosted feeling. Then she confirmed, “But I feel that he treats me differently.”

She can’t jump to a conclusion about where it is different, but it has already been shown concretely. Liu Qianxiu is an expert, and he is cultivated in the Taoist temple. He is willing to share that place with her, indicating that he agreed she approached him.

From the beginning, Lin Wei heard that Mu Wan wanted to chase Liu Qianxiu. Now that Mu Wan has made such progress, Lin Wei felt she had finished the game after playing for many years. She is so happy that she only knows how to say exclamations.

“Then are you going to confess?” Lin Wei asked.

Looking up at the ceiling, Mu Wan said, “Let me have a little try first.”

If it doesn’t work, stop the loss in time and continue to boil the frog in warm water. If it works, then naturally, take it!

After hanging up with Lin Wei, Mu Wan continued to pack her luggage, and her small suitcase was stuffed. Mu Wan looked up to see the time. It was already five o’clock. She sat in front of her luggage and called Liu Qianxiu.

“Liu Qianxiu, what time do you get off work today?”

Mu Wan took a taxi to Tang’er Hospital. Liu Qianxiu was going to have a meeting today, saying that he would leave work late, and asked her to go directly to his house later. But it was no fun for her to stay home, so she just went to the hospital to wait for him. After taking a taxi to the hospital, Mu Wan went directly to his office.

The weather was still hot in the evening, but the hospital was always chill and ventilated, with a faint smell of disinfectant, staggering the crowd. Mu Wan took the elevator to the floor where Liu Qianxiu’s office was.

Out of the elevator, the setting sun shone down into the corridor. Amid the nurses’ gaze and low voices, Mu Wan walked to Liu Qianxiu’s office. As soon as she arrived at the door, she heard voices and footsteps.

The door opened, and a male doctor wearing glasses came out. When he saw Mu Wan, his eyes lit up, and he asked with a smile, “Who are you looking for?”

Several doctors were standing at the door, some men and women. There were some people that Mu Wan knew and some that she didn’t know. She crossed the crowd and looked at the tallest one. Then Liu Qianxiu said something lightly.

“Looking for me.”
