Incurable Chapter 27 Part 1

The sun shone all over the sky, and Mu Wan looked up at Liu Qianxiu. Her heart fluttered, her eyes did not blink momentarily, and her tone was uncertain. “Did you hear it?”

“No.” Liu Qianxiu denied it and looked down at her. He saw that her hair was tied up, and her loose hair was also layered with red light. The sea breeze blew and made her hair look like seaweed.

“I’ll listen it when you want to tell me.”

She wanted to say it now but didn’t know how it would turn out. Mu Wan smiled and said, “That’s right. I will definitely tell you later.”

The afterglow of the setting sun enlarges the beauty of the sea view. As the setting sun enters the sea, the gravel slides under their feet, and the two of them leave the beach.

Mu Wan didn’t fall asleep today, so she went to Xu Xingkong’s house with Liu Qianxiu. The doorbell rang, and Xu Xingkong opened the door. Seeing Mu Wan standing behind Liu Qian’s body, her eyes lit up, and she smiled.

“You are here. Come in quickly.”

Mu Wan stood behind Liu Qian’s body, and when she saw Xu Xingkong smile, she smiled. Mu Wan likes Xu Xingkong very much. She has the gentleness unique to Jiangnan women, like gauze washed in a shallow stream, soft and flexible as the water flows slowly. She found the commonality between Xu Xingkong and her mother, which made her feel very pleasant.

There are a total of four cats divided into two cat cages. Liu Qianxiu holds one in each hand, and Mu Wan only holds a box of strawberry milk in her hand. After entering the door, Mu Wan passed the strawberry milk to Xu Xingkong.

“It’s for you, and it’s so sweet. Liu Qianxiu bought it.”

Looking up at Liu Qianxiu, Xu Xingkong reached out to take it and said with a smile: “Thank you.~.”

Liu Qianxiu carried the cat cage to the cat room. When Liu put the cat’s cage down, he received a phone call. After he answered the call, he got up and went out, so only Mu Wan and Xu Xingkong were left in the cat room. Mu Wan squatted down and released Zhou Yi and the three little ones.

Xu Xingkong wanted to help, but Mu Wan quickly said she didn’t need help. As she opened the cat cage, Zhou Yi ran out first, and Zhou Yi was obviously familiar with this place. After he came out, he climbed onto the cat climbing frame while the three little ones looked like glue. They cried out from the cat cage with a milky voice and then slowly lingered on Mu Wan’s feet.’

“The kitten is clingy.” Xu Xingkong looked at the three little ones and finally squatted down. Her squatting posture is a little backward, and Mu Wan thought it was a personal habit, so she didn’t care about it.

“But they are much more clingy to Liu Qianxui.” Mu Wan pointed to Liu Qianxiu on the phone outside the door. His voice was too low, so she couldn’t understand his words clearly. She can only hear a few words occasionally, which are related to work.

The worked Liu Qianxiu seemed to have a little extra charm, and Mu Wan was fascinated. When she returned to her senses, she saw Xu Xingkong looking at her. Mu Wan’s face was hot, and she retracted her gaze and put her hands on the three small heads, “These three cats belong to me, but Liu Qianxiu was afraid that I would not be able to can’t keep them, so he raised them first. When they grow up, I will take it back.”

“Qianxiu really likes cats very much.” When the topic was Liu Qianxiu, Xu Xingkong smiled and said, “He also gave my husband the cat in our house.”

“Ah.” Mu Wan was surprised, remembering what Liu Qianxiu said at the beginning, and laughed, “He said his friend would not raise the cat, but it was his friend’s wife who raised it.”

“Yeah.” Considering Mimi’s situation in Huaijing’s family initially, Xu XingKong agreed, “He won’t be able to raise it, so he asked me to take it back and raise it later.”

“Then you guys knew each other because of a cat?” Mu Wan asked.

“That’s not the case.” When talking about the past, Xu Xingkong’s cheeks were slightly blushed. The intersection of her and Huaijing did not start with the cat, but the cat also ran through the whole process.

“Your husband must be a very gentle person.” Mu Wan looked at Xu Xingkong, and her eyes glowed with happiness, which warmed her heart.

Mu Wan had never met Xu Xingkong’s husband, but she could feel it. Their home is big and open but not cold. Every corner of their home is covered with a layer of light warmth. The family would not have such a strong sense of happiness if the two were not in love.

Xu Xingkong curled her lips at Mu Wan’s evaluation of her husband, but she did not admit it, but she said: “Well, he is very gentle to me.”

“That’s good.” Emotionally, Mu Wan said, reaching out and pokingZhongfen’s ears, and whispered, “It would be great if Liu Qianxiu did the same.”

The cat room door opened as they spoke, and the two looked back together. Liu Qianxiu’s gaze swept away, finally falling on Mu Wan and saying: “There is something in the hospital, so I have to go back now.”

Xu Xingkong sent the two out to board the car. Mu Wan waved goodbye to her and fastened her seat belt.

The sun had set completely, night had fallen, the street lights lit up in rows, and the coastal roads were illuminated brightly. Liu Qianxiu did things steadily, and so was his driving. Mu Wan leaned on the car seat and looked at the lighthouse standing on the cliff by the sea.

“What’s the matter in the hospital?” Mu Wan’s eyes narrowed slightly as the lighthouse’s light swept by. She withdrew her gaze and asked Liu Qianxiu, who was driving beside him.

“We will have a meeting to discuss the surgery tomorrow.” Liu Qianxiu replied.

“Oh.” Mu Wan replied and asked: “Will the meeting take a long time?”

“Well, you go home first.” Liu Qianxiu said.

Her eyelashes moved slightly, and Mu Wan looked at Liu Qianxiu’s profile and asked, “Which one should I go back to?”

Liu Qianxiu turned his head when the car stopped at the traffic light. There was delicate light in Mu Wan’s eyes, and she smiled at him.

“I may not be finished until late.” There will be surgery tomorrow, but the plan has not yet been determined.

“I can wait for you.” Mu Wan said.

What is she waiting for him? It was definitely not dinner anyway. After all, it was already seven. It would be at least nine when he returned. After Mu Wan finished speaking, her lips closed, and she murmured: “Ah... It’s too late, and you won’t have dinner either.”
