~ UNEASY CONCUBINE ZHOU ~

I probably would have thought this young girl was over her head as well. But Concubine Zhao did seem like she was just enjoying yelling out orders without actually managing the chaos.

ReplyDeleteGosh, if I'd have known what was going to happen in this chapter, I would have waited for a few more to come out before reading them, rather than waiting on tenterhooks! I don't believe anything will happen, but...

Well, it is quite obvious that Concubine Zhao orchestrated Madam's accidental early delivery, that she was trying to make everyone panic and useless and both midwives were bought by her so they were trying to tire Madam Jin so she'd die in child-birth.
ReplyDeleteAs Madam said herself before, these concubines were fine while knowing she couldn't have babies, now she can, they're suddenly trying to get rid of her, because they all harboured thoughts of becoming the future mistress of the Manor.
