Incurable Chapter 21 Part 1

Mu Wan’s body was empty. Liu Qianxiu pinched her waist with both hands and lifted her straight like a father holding up his daughter, petting and loving. She didn’t expect to see him so strong when he looked a little thin.

After the rain, the air was clear, the wind blowing was chilly, the basketball in her hand was cold, and the hand that  Liu Qianxiu held on her waist felt cool. Between heaven and earth, only she felt hot.

With his heart beating on her eardrum, Mu Wan’s palm sweats slightly, while the temperature of Liu Qianxiu’s palm is transmitted to her waist through the thin cloth, which is dry and cool.

She held the ball and straightened her arms. With force, her waistline moved, and the basketball went into the hoop with a ‘bang’ sound.

The basketball fell to the ground and quickly rebounded to hit the ground. Mu Wan listened to the ball’s sound and moved her eyes down, and then she was put down by Liu Qianxiu.

The ball didn’t bounce anymore and rolled away. Mu Wan panted quietly, and a layer of hot sweat broke out on her body. As soon as the wind blew, she instantly felt cold. It made her skin and heart tight.

However, the feeling after sweating was hearty. It was like the fog had subsided, and the ship on the long voyage had found the lighthouse. Mu Wan turned around, looked up at Liu Qianxiu, and asked, “Am I good?”

Liu Qianxiu’s expression remained unchanged. It seemed he didn’t use any force to lift her up just now. He said faintly: “Powerful.”

Mu Wan laughed, “I’m good because of you.”

She looked at him, and there was light in her eyes, like a fire. He looked at the fire quietly and asked, “Are you hungry?”

Maybe it was because she recently took two shots that consumed some of her physical strength or because of her problem that she didn’t know how to refuse. Mu Wan looked at him and nodded, “I am hungry.”

“Going home now?” Liu Qianxiu asked.

There was a flash of light in her eyes, her throat moved lightly, and the corners of Mu Wan’s lips curled up slightly. She looked back at the basketball, which made her neckline look smooth and beautiful.

“Come back.”

The two returned to Liu Qianxiu’s house, and Mu Wan went to find the three little ones to play with her. The little ones are now out of the kitten’s room and moving around in the cat’s room. The little guys are curious about the new place, but Zhou Yi is much more cold and calm, always lying on the cat climbing frame. Occasionally it looked down when it heard the cry of the kitten.

Cats and cats develop feelings, as do humans and cats, but what about humans?

After dinner, Mu Wan accompanied Liu Qianxiu to clean up the kitchen and naturally sat beside him after they finished. Naturally, she hasn’t read the book. Mu Wan stretched her arms on the table, her chin pressed against the paper, smelling the faint fragrance of books, and her gaze traced Liu Qianxiu’s outline.

He was still quiet and indifferent as if nothing could disturb him. Mu Wan watched him for a while, then got up and went to the cat’s room.

After a while, Mu Wan exited the cat’s room and sat beside Liu Qianxiu again. This time, instead of lying on the table, she propped her hands back on the ground, looking in the direction of the cat’s room, and when she heard the faint cry of the baby cat, Mu Wan gently called out.

“It’s here.”

The man next to her finally moved. Mu Wan turned her head, looked at him with bright eyes, and said: “It’s not good to be bored. Let them come out and relax for a while.”

Liu Qianxiu looked at her quietly, His eyes were as clear as water, and the lights reflected on them. In a trance, there was a woman’s figure inside.

He didn’t speak, so Mu Wan thought it was disturbing him. Then she retracted her arms, sat up straight, and said, “Then I will send them back.”

“No need.” Liu Qianxiu said in a deep voice, lowering his head to continue reading.

After getting permission, Mu Wan’s eyes flashed a smile momentarily. She looked at the kittens who couldn’t find their way. She patted the carpet gently and said, “Come here. Mommy is here.”

After shooting, Mu Wan’s voice was lowered by half again, and she added something with a voice that she could only hear herself.

“Dad is here too.”

Liu Qianxiu paused slightly when his fingers turned over the book.

After shooting, Mu Wan’s voice was lowered by half again, and she added something with a voice that she could only hear herself.

“Dad is here too.”

Liu Qianxiu paused slightly when his fingers turned over the book.

Mu Wan naturally didn’t give attention to this little detail. The three kittens heard her voice and had a general direction. After a while, they staggered over with their short legs.

The light lengthened and enlarged the three small figures, who looked lovely and charming. Their soft voices were like marshmallows soaked in hot cocoa.

In the blink of an eye, the three little ones gathered at Mu Wan’s side. She sat cross-legged, and Ertong and Datou wanted to get closer to her, and their little paws stepped on her ankles.

The soft, warm little paws stepped on her ankles, making Mu Wan’s whole figure disappear. She was full of tenderness, reached out to help, and hugged the two little guys in her arms. When she was about to catch Zhongfen, she looked, tilted her head, and saw Zhongfen crawling on Liu Qianxiu’s legs.

Liu QIanxiu’s legs are long, and his sitting cross-legged is higher than Mu Wan’s, so Zhongfen is very difficult to climb it. Zhongfen crawled twice, stomped on its tiny paws, put its chin on the man’s leg, and started to meow.

Just as Mu Wan was about to reach out and grab it, in her sight, a slender white hand caught the black and white Zhongfen. Liu Qianxiu’s fingers curled slightly, his movements were extremely gentle, and he placed Zhongfen on his legs.

“Meow~” Zhongfen acts like a baby.

Liu Qianxiu looked away from the book and fell on Zhongfen’s body.

One person, one cat, the scene was so warm and touching. He looked at it so quietly. The light hit his cheeks and eyelashes, making Mu Wan feel gentle and moving.

He stretched out his hand and stroked his fingers gently on Zhongfen’s head. Zhongfen was lying quietly on his legs, limbs stretched out, and its paws spread like a blooming flower.

“You’ve grown up.” Liu Qianxiu said in a low voice. His voice was long and distant, like a god in heaven speaking to a refined creature on the ground, revealing a shallow chill coming out of the clouds.

Mu Wan looked at ZHongfen, who lay on Liu Qianxiu’s legs. She folded her arms slightly and placed them on the short table. Putting her chin on it, Mu Wan looked at Liu Qianxiu and said.

“Liu Qianxiu, I want to be your cat too.”

It was raining again outside. The sound of the cold rain attracted her attention. She lay on the table and looked out the window. Her body was soft and agile, while her posture was loose and sluggish. It’s like a kitten demon who has just taken shape in the growth and still doesn’t know how to sit.

Raindrops struck his eardrums. Liu Qianxiu looked at her and said, “It’s getting late. I’ll take you home.”

After Mu Wan was sent off to her home, Liu Qianxiu went home alone. The living room was heavily illuminated, and nothing else except his light breathing. Liu Qianxiu walked over to the short table and sat down. Then he picked up the book he hadn’t finished reading.

A black flash reflected in his sight. Liu Qianxiu raised his eyes and saw Zhou Yi squatting on the side. On the short table is a book that Mu Wan did not look at all after spreading it out before leaving.

The black cat sat there, seeming to overlap with the slender and soft figure of Mu Wan. Zhou Yi called out, and there was only a mass of black in his sigh. He looked at its dark body and eyes after pupils dilated.

The empty living room is free of disorder and suitable for meditation. But Liu Qianxiu’s heart seemed unable to calm down, and he felt that the space was not empty, surrounded by loneliness and solitude.

Then Mu Wan’s words echoed in his ears.

Liu Qianxiu, I want to be your cat too.

With his eyes drooping slightly, Liu Qianxiu didn’t think further, lowered his head, and continued reading. At this moment, his mobile phone vibrated, and Liu Qianxiu glanced at the mobile phone screen. His eyelids moved slightly, and he closed his eyes.

“Tomorrow morning at eight o’clock, Wuling Tea House.”
